INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATES
Enthusiasm for Classical Osteopathy and ICO teaching has established links with various groups outside of our headquarters in the UK. Teaching courses in line with the ICO curriculum, with slight international variations, have been run in conjunction with the ICO and typically, but not exclusively, with our UK-based faculty. The affiliates referred to here work very closely with the ICO to maintain a continuity of educational, practical and philosophical standards that provide a link with the continuum of this traditional approach to osteopathy.

Instituto Español de Osteopatía Clásica (IEOC)
El Instituto Español de Osteopatía Clásica (SICO) se fundó en 2011. Es una organización independiente que colabora con el Instituto de Osteopatía Clásica del Reino Unido. Colaboramos y apoyamos a estudiantes y osteópatas interesados en la práctica y los principios de la Osteopatía Clásica.
Nuestro principal objetivo es promover, mediante cursos y seminarios, la filosofía fundamental de la Osteopatía Clásica, formulada originalmente por A. T. Still y desarrollada por J. M. Littlejohn. Además, asesoramos en la investigación, traducción y publicación de textos osteopáticos clásicos.
En SICO, creemos que el término «clásica» no representa una visión anticuada de la osteopatía, sino todo lo contrario. La osteopatía se estudia tal como la practicaban los primeros osteópatas, incorporando las últimas investigaciones y desarrollos relevantes para nosotros. Si somos conscientes de nuestros orígenes, tendremos un camino claro a seguir.
Nuestro Curso de Posgrado en España se organiza en colaboración con el ICO del Reino Unido. Normalmente se imparte de septiembre a junio y consta de 23 días divididos en 6 seminarios (160 horas) de cuatro días cada uno. Profesores de la ICO del Reino Unido viajan a España y todas las conferencias se traducen al español. El último seminario se imparte en Dorking, Reino Unido, para que los estudiantes puedan conocer a otros miembros del personal de la ICO.

ASSOCIAZIONE ITALIANA DI OSTEOPATIA CLASSICA (AIOC)
L'Associazione Italiana di Osteopatia Classica è nata il 4 marzo 2006 su invito del Sig. John Wernham per diffondere in Italia i concetti e i principi originali dell'osteopatia così come stabiliti da JM Littlejohn.
A quel tempo il Sig. Wernham stava per compiere 99 anni ma aveva ancora molta energia e motivazione. E ce l'abbiamo fatta.
Oggi lavoriamo come collegamento tra l'Istituto di Osteopatia Classica e gli studenti italiani che desiderano conoscere la "vera verità", organizzando i Corsi di Fondazione, Diploma e Avanzati in Osteopthy Classica.

日本古典的オステオパシー協会 (JACO)
JACO は JWCCO との提携組織であり、2006 年 6 月 4 日に設立されました。2010 年 3 月、JACO は ICO と正式な提携関係を結びました。私たちは、ICO の全面的な支援を受けて、JM littlejohn D.O から John Werhnam D.O に受け継がれたオステオパシーの教育と推進を行っています。
日本のオステオパシーのほとんどがアメリカ式のオステオパシーを教えています。アメリカではオステオパシーの創始者A.T.スティルが弟子に自分のテクニックを真似することを許さなかったため、それ以来多くのテクニックが開発されました。しかし、アメリカでオステオパシーが認知されるにつれて、全身を見るよりも局所的な障害に重点が置かれるようになりました。現在のアメリカのオステオパシーは、創始者A.T.スティルが行っていたものとはかなり異なっていると言えます。人体は、すべての組織や臓器が互いに密接につながり、全体として調和して機能しています。人体は小宇宙と考えられています。

SOCIETY FOR OSTEOPATHIC WELLNESS- (SFOW)
The Vitality of Truth – Society for Osteopathic Wellness (SFOW) is a Toronto-based non-profit organization. The SFOW aims to promote and proliferate the science of Osteopathy, in Canada and internationally. One of the primary means of achieving this goal is to develop community clinics staffed by volunteer Osteopathic Manual Practitioners who hold current Osteopathic licensing and are registered in good standing with their association. These operators provide accessible therapeutic care to various communities both locally and globally. Our goal is to fund international initiatives in developing nations that provide Osteopathic Manual Therapy to communities in need.
We believe that everyone, everywhere, has the right to health and wellness.
The Society for Osteopathic Wellness is proud to offer post graduate courses developed by the Institute of Classical Osteopathy in order to support our Mission and Vision.

THE INSTITUT FÜR KLASSISCHE OSTEOPATHIE DEUTSCHLAND (IKOD)
Das Institut für Klassische Osteopathie Deutschland (IKOD) wurde 2018 als unabhängiges Institut mit dem Ziel gegründet, die klassische Osteopathie nach A. T. Still und J. M. Littlejohn, vertreten durch das Institute of Classical Osteopathy (ICO), weiterzuentwickeln.
Wir möchten eine Anlaufstelle für Klassische Osteopathie bieten und eine erstklassige Ausbildung in klassischer Osteopathie in Deutschland ermöglichen. Dafür arbeiten wir eng mit der Fakultät des ICO zusammen. Unser größter Wunsch ist es, das Interesse an der Klassischen Osteopathie zu wecken und zu verbreiten und das Verständnis für ihre Prinzipien und ihre Praxis zu erweitern.
Entgegen der landläufigen Meinung in Deutschland ist die Klassische Osteopathie keineswegs eine veraltete parietale Technik. Doch Wissen ist erst der Anfang. Hier haben wir vom IKOD angesetzt und den ICO-Grundkurs in Stuttgart organisiert.
Das IKOD ist ein junges Projekt mit Zukunftsvisionen. Wir werden alles tun, um unseren herausragenden Beruf zu fördern.
